Global warming is no longer a prediction, it's a reality. And we have no one to blame but ourselves. For years we've been ignorantly and arrogantly releasing enormous amounts of carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere, and quite frankly, I don't see an end in sight. Unless we all repent our addictions to fossil fuels, we're not going to make much progress in the grand scheme of things. This isn't someone else's problem, it's all of ours. It's not a political issue, it's not an economic issue, it's a survival issue. I've never seen a society so hypocritical - rushing to the physician for their every little need... but doing so in an 8-MPG Lincoln Navigator. We need to put an end to this soon, or else we might not live to see the day a new issue arises. There are 265 pledges to reduce carbon dioxide emissions so far, make yours count.
